Chinese New Years Game Fun
The first day of the first month of the Lunar Year is the start of the Chinese New Year. As a symbol of good luck, red packets called Lai See Hong Bao (or Hongbao) with money are given out to the children. On the Chinese New Year's Day, a vegetarian dish called jai with root or fibrous vegetables is the main course.
On many of the Chinese New Year days are parties. And where there are Chinese New Years parties, there are Chinese New Years games. One game that is a big hit always with young children is Man and Object Game. In this game two persons go out of the room, and after agreeing together as to what they will represent, they come back in again. One of the two takes the part of some well-known person while the other person represents an object associated with the well-known person. When the two reenter the room, the other players take turns to ask them question to which both the man and the object have to answer with either a "yes" or a "no." The game is completed when both the man and the object are guessed and then two others can leave the room to continue. This game will prove to be a Chinese New Year's game both family and friends will want to play at your Chinese New Years party.
