Superman Party Games
Faster than speed bullet, the Superman caped superhero is the most famous comic book character ever. He is the last son of Krypton, sent to Earth before his planet exploded. Living under the alias of Clark Kent he fights for Truth, Justice and the American Way. In 1933, John Siegel conjured up the first incarnation of Superman for a self-created magazine. In this early version, entitled Reign of the Superman, Superman was a bald villain. In 1934, Siegel had a vision. He conceived of the Superman character as we know him. In June of 1938, DC Comics released Action Comics #1 was issued, introducing the world to Superman. Superman quickly swept the country and by 1939, while still appearing in Action Comics, a newspaper stripe was added. The most important super-element to come out of the early days is the 104 episodes of the Superman television show which aired between 1951 and 1957. It was this show which re-introduced Superman to a whole new generation while allowing the generation that grew up with him to stay in contact with his explodes. In the 80s a series of Superman movies, starring Christopher Reeves hit the big screen. Now the superman story goes on with Smallville, a television series about the teenage years of Clark Kent (a.k.a. Superman). Superman party supplies like paper plates, napkins, and cups are a nice way to complete a Superman Party Theme. Superman Party decorations using real Superman action figures as centerpiece, can also double as party prizes. Party favors like Superman stickers or badges fit a Superman Party Theme.
PUTTING A SHOT: Put a ping-pong ball on the edge of the table. The player is blindfolded. He/she stands with his/her back to the table. At the command he/she makes 5 steps forwards, turns around 3 times, comes back to the table and blows the ball off the table. Very often after the turning around the players lose their orientation. Then it's very funny to watch the player who tries to blow the ball off the place the ball has never been.
