Biofeedback Games
During the holiday's at many get togethers, biofeedback games were the hottest action. Now after the holiday many more are still hot like the Journey to Wild Divine.
In the Biofeedback Game the player uses techniques of making unconscious or involuntary bodily processes (as heartbeat or brain waves) perceptible to the senses (as by the use of an oscilloscope) in order to manipulate them by conscious mental control. The biofeedback game is similar to a training technique that enables a person to gain some element of voluntary control over autonomic body functions. It is based on the principle that a desired response is learned when received information indicates that a specific thought or action has produced the desired response. The technique of using monitoring devices to furnish information regarding an autonomic bodily function, such as heart rate or blood pressure, in an attempt to gain some voluntary control over that function is considered biofeedback. It may be used clinically to treat certain conditions, such as hypertension and migraine headache.
